Artist's Description
The original of this piece was painted in acrylic paints. I dedicated it to a friend of mine that happens to be born right on the Cusp of the signs Aries~and Taurus... This was a painting as a gift to him, as I have never met a soul that has been dedicated not only to being an Artist himself, but also to the study of Astrology.
This piece often comes off to viewers as menacing. Some would even state it feels as though it has Demonic energies~ Though I tried to focus on quite the opposite with this piece. Besides the focus on the two Astrological signs, the concept I always had behind why I paint or draw the eyes as white (almost as though Soulless) is to not give the creature/being/entity/archetype an actual IDENTITY... I always felt that once an artist places actual eyes within whatever they may be painting~(unless the eyes are archetypal themselves) it automatically gives the subject an IDENTITY~and a story of their own...
